School girl puts warrior in Savernake Forest

| Livvy Crawford with her drawing and prizes |
SCHOOL girl Livvy Crawford has won an award in a national competition to see who could produce a drawing of a Chinese terracotta warrior in an unusual location.
Livvy, nine, who goes to Preshute School in Manton, Marlborough, placed her warrior in the midst of Savernake Forest.
The First Emperor competition for five to 11's was organised by the British Museum.
It invited children to send in their drawings of a terracotta warrior who had escaped from the museum and ended up in an unusual place.
Livvy, who is in Class 9 at Preshute, was a runner up.
Her teacher Rachel Bradford said: "Everybody in Livvy's class had great fun taking part and clearly the organisers thought her entry showing a warrior in Savernake Forest was the most original."
