Chef has sights set on best burger prize
CHEF Tony Robson-Burrell is hoping to wow the judges and take the title of England's Best Beefbruger for the third year in a row.
Mr Robson-Burrell, who owns The Wheatsheaf in Oaksey, was as the best burger maker in 2006 and 2007.
Now with the 2008 competition looming in the summer he is setting his sights on the winner's trophy again.
He said: "We have introduced a new menu to tempt people and I think the burgers are better than ever.
"I hope it's a case of third time lucky this time. And we pride ourselves on quality.
"I don't mess around with too many ingredients and we use really good quality meat. I think that's why we have won twice."
The competition is judged by representatives from the English Beef and Lamb Executive and last year The Wheatsheaf was picked as the best from around 300 entries.
