Roll on unitary days
I would like to refer to an item in the Gazette and Herald on May 1, page 61 "Kennet making places for the future". I doubt very few readers will have noticed it.
What is Kennet talking about? Apart from the fact that Kennet is about to disappear, why are they talking about 15 years' time?
Has Kennet ever listened to objections made regarding housing developments in Devizes? If Kennet officials attend the Cheese Hall/Town Hall exhibitions in June, I strongly suspect they will be wearing earplugs.
Roll on the Wiltshire County takeover, I can't wait.
