Local historian Ray Pope, of Alton Barnes, who has a photographic museum containing thousands of old photos, has come across this picture of Honeystreet FC (now defunct) from 1934-1935.

Mr Pope is the mascot pictured at the front on the right.

The other mascot is Roy Smith at the front on the left.

Some of the players later played for Devizes Town and Wiltshire county teams.

The players are: back row, E Webb, E J Pearce, W Phillimore, O Whatley, C J Rebbeck (captain), LM Ball, E Griffin and W Smith.

Middle row: H Hams, S Jackman, A H Ball, S C Pope and HC Whatley.

Front row: E Jackman, S Huntley, C Smith, W H Huntley, A E Bailey and F Smith.
