Man attacked in Swindon

POLICE are appealing to any witnesses to a vicious assault that has left a man with serious head injuries.

The incident happened at approximately 8pm last night in Burleigh Close, Walcot, Swindon, when a man was attacked by two males.

The men drove up belong side the victim before jumping out and attacking him.

The injury is not thought to be life threatening.

Anyone with information should contact Acting Detective Sergeant Corinne Dennison at Swindon Gablecross station on 0845 408 7000 or on Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
