Meat thefts witness plea

Police are appealing for information about the theft of meat from a Calne supermarket at around 6pm on March 28.

Three men reportedly entered the Co-op store in Mill Street and filled bags with eight to 10 expensive joints of meat.

Two of the men walked out of the store without paying while the third man was disturbed by witnesses and left his bag before leaving the store.

The men are then reported to have been seen a short time later getting on a bus bound for Swindon.
