Road closed near Chippenham after pedestrian is hurt in accident

The Wiltshire Air Ambulance has been called out following reports of a road traffic collision on the B4069, in Chippenham.

The accident, which occurred shortly before 5pm, is thought to have involved a pedestrian and a car at the junction of Maud Heath's Causeway and Parsonage Way.

Wiltshire Police are asking drivers to find alternative routes as diversions are in place at the Langley Burrell junction and Hill Corner Road.
