Pewsey Skeleton Bob star Shelley Rudman's car has been stolen containing the helmet she wore on her medal-winning run in Turin.
The incident happened in Sheffield after Rudman had returned from a trip to her parents' Wiltshire home.
"They took my Olympic helmet, my racing gloves and my training kit that I use at the gym," she said.
Rudman earned a silver medal at the 2008-09 Skeleton World Cup and was crowned FIBT European Champion after a victory at St Moritz in January.
She also won Britain's only medal at the Winter Olympic Games in 2006 when she took silver in the Bob Skeleton.
"When you're an athlete you pretty much live out of your car," she said.
"I'd just got back from seeing my mum and dad so the car was packed and I'm quite upset about it.
"The people who've stolen my car are probably just going to burn my car and helmet and my personal things and that's really annoying."
