MORRIS dancers helped lift spirits at Avon Court Care Home in Chippenham during the Care Home Open Day this weekend.
The HC-One home teamed up with Leonard Cheshire Care Home at Yatton Keynell for the special open day event on Saturday, where residents and their families focused on the theme 'linking communities'.
The sound of You Are My Sunshine filled the room at lunchtime, and guests enjoyed a great British tea party in celebration of the Queen's birthday.
"The day was fantastic," Linda Watts, home manager, said. "It was great to see everyone enjoying the entertainment and the food, and spending time with each other."
