ENTREPRENEURS from Abbeyfield School, who have set up an ethical smoothie business, showcased their products at Swindon Trade Fair.

The Native Company team, which is led by 17-year-old managing director James Robinson, sold out of their smoothies and made £100 at the fair at the Outlet Shopping Centre on Saturday.

The team of pupils are hoping to reach the next round of the Youth Enterprise competition, where pupils are encouraged to produce and market a product.

Sixteen year-old Louis Healey, who is part of the team, said: “We are learning about how to set up our own products and achieve a common goal as a collective, while practising a variety of different skills. It was a big success and we sold out of all our products.”

The team are now working on distributing their leaflets about their weekly delivery service around Pewsham ahead of the finals in May.
