ACTOR in the making Raphael Gahagan has been recognised for his talents at a performance competition after taking home three trophies for drama.
Raphael, 11, won first place in the solo Shakespeare, Memorised prose and News Reading competitions and was even invited back to perform in front of a select audience during the finale of the Mid-Somerset Festival. The festival attracts 5000 entrants in 200 performance awards.
Raphael lives in Chippenham and attends Abbey Field School.
His mum Madeleine said: “He is very dedicated and completely passionate about drama. He is set on pursuing acting and is very a determined young man.”
He is now preparing to take the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) grades in acting.
