SEVEN men who bared all for their version of the Full Monty last year in Chippenham have raised £3,700 for prostate and testicular cancer charities.

Mike Lees, Neil Moore, Geoff Windle, Dickie Albrighton, Amos Smith, Jamie Dobson and Pete O'Toole split the cash between Prostate Cancer UK and It's In The Bag after spending weeks learning the dance routine for the special ladies night at the Constitutional Club last December.

Despite suffering out of time routines in training and some of the stripper's clothing getting stuck, the men pulled it out of the bag on the night, which was watched by hundreds of women.

"Some of the men hadn't been on stage or danced before," Caron Wiltshire, who helped organise the night, said. "There were lots of two left feet and hips moving in different directions at first, but with a lot of hard work and dedication the men got it together.

"Over 200 tickets were sold for the evening, with a large raffle and prizes being donated from local shops in Chippenham, and when the men got on stage, the shouts and screams raised the roof.

"I was so proud of them and hats off to them for raising such a big amount for the charities."
