A group of school children going to a pantomime nearly missed the show after their coach became stuck in a ditch.

Around 60 children were travelling to Newbury along the B3087, Little Salisbury, when the Barnes coach became stuck in a ditch alongside the road.

None of the children were injured but were left trapped inside the vehicle after the exit was blocked by a hedge.
