SCHOOL choirs singing Christmas songs will add to the festive feel when a family fun afternoon is held in Devizes to raise money for Julia's House children's hospice.
The Christmas Cracker afternoon will be held at Braeside Education Centre on December 2 from 11am to 4pm and will include a Santa's grotto, craft activities and a children's disco.
There will also be a wide range of stalls, games, face painting and plenty of food and drink including a barbecue and mulled wine. The ticket price of £3 in advance or £5 on the door includes the cost of the craft activities and disco but there will be a small charge for some sideshows.
Vee Thursby from Patney near Devizes, whose granddaughter Sophia is one of the children helped by the new hospice, which opened at Browfort, Devizes, earlier this year is helping to organise the event and hopes families will turn out in force to support the charity.
Tickets are available in advance from OHM clothing in Snuff Street or Devizes Books.
