ROTARIANS from the Marlborough and District Rotary Club hosted an information evening to reveal to the public the charity work they do both in Marlborough and further afield.

Guests included mayor Mervyn Hall and deputy mayor, cllr Lisa Farrell who heard about the group’s involvement in providing basic supplies in third world countries through the Water Survival Box that helps families provide clean water for months.

Club President Cedric Hollinsworth said: "We were delighted to welcome so many guests , including the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, and have the opportunity to outline the role of Rotary in the modern world , with a particular focus on our youth activities, and the continued campaign to eradicate Polio on a World- wide basis."

'Rotary- The Things We Do' was held in Marlborough Golf Club on October 12.
