DEVIZES Carnival will kick off on Sunday (20) Picnic In The Park is held in Hillworth Park from noon to 5pm.
There will be a beer tent run by CAMRA and people are encouraged to bring a picnic and sit on the grass while watching a variety of music.
Dee Moxon will also be running free workshops to help people who want to take part in the carnival parade on September 2. It will be a chance to make a peacock head dress out of a collage of canvas, print and sequins.
Artistic director Loz Samuels said: "Hillworth Park is such a lovely relaxing place to spend the day, perfect to bring a picnic, listen to great music and hang out with family and friends, the workshops will be great entertainment for the kids too. The perfect way to spend a summer Sunday."
