PUPILS at the John Bentley School have proved there are no limits on success by breaking the school's GCSE results record.

The staff at the school were impressed with the sixteen-year-olds, who secured their best ever GCSE results in English and Maths, while 63 per cent of them achieved A*-C results with 35 per cent of those graded A*-B.

Principal Jason Tudor said: "These excellent results are testament to the hard work of our students and are thoroughly deserved. I am incredibly privileged to work with such a talented and dedicated team of staff without whom these results would not be possible.

"I am sure I speak for the parents and students when I thank them for their ongoing commitment to the young people of the Calne community. The John Bentley School is proud to be the first choice school for the young people in the Calne area and both the GCSE and A level results show that parents can trust JBS to deliver a first rate education for their children."

Eleven A*/A grades were waiting inside Erin Richardson's envelope, while Ella Roberts achieved 10A*/A grades. Three other pupils, Liam Watkins, Sasha Burry and Anna Cooper also boasted 9A*/A grades.
