MCGILLS, the Cotswold-based chartered accountancy firm with offices in Cirencester and Malmesbury, has sponsored a business competition at Farmors School in Fairford.

Simon Nuttall, a partner at the firm, visited the school recently to present the McGills Business Enterprise Award to the winning student, Stephen Gibbons, who was judged to have put together the best business plan.

Simon Nuttall said: “I was delighted to present the award to Stephen. It’s wonderful to see students engaging with the practicalities of running a successful business in the modern world.

“Here at McGills we are committed to the future of business and enterprise in the Cotswolds and sponsoring the McGills Business and Enterprise Award at Farmors School is part of that commitment.”

Stephen was presented with a trophy and a voucher.
