THE finest foods and products that Wiltshire has to offer were on show in Parliament as MPs got the chance to sample the wide range of items manufactured in the area.

Organised by Chippenham MP Michelle Donelan, the event welcomed a range of companies including Bradford on Avon’s award winning Eat Square Pies, Corsham based artisan chocolatiers Lick the Spoon and Melksham’s cream and cheese producers Coombe Castle Dairies.

Also in attendance was Wiltshire Chilli Farm, who were visited by Boris Johnson in 2014, as well as The Country Candle Company, Moulton Bikes and Iford Manor Tea.

Event organiser Michelle Donelan said: “From cheese to candles, teas to chillies, chocolate to pies and even bikes, the day was about highlighting the broad range of world-class products that are made in the local area and encouraging our businesses to speak with other MPs about what Wiltshire has to offer.

“I know that some of the businesses have made good business connections which will help them grow.”
