GARAGE owner Mark Wadman and his team swapped from four wheels to two to raise more than £300 for Children In Need.
Mr Wadman who runs Fussell Wadman Peugeot dealership in Devizes along with customers John Ford, Barrie Smale, Clive Innes, Nigel Sadd and Ken Snook cycled more than 1,000 miles along the South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne.
Another customer, Eugene Hillier, accompanied the team in his Peugeot 4007 to cheer them on and provide much needed provisions.
Dealer Principal Mr Wadman said: “What a journey this was, with the whole team working together to raise money for an amazing charity. There were definitely ups and downs - it was a mountain bike ride after all. But it was so worth it as so far we’ve raised over £300 together for Children in Need.
“I’d like to thank all of our loyal customers – not only those who took part in the cycle but everyone who donated and cheered us on as well.”
David Peel, Peugeot UK Managing Director, said: “It’s great to see the Dealership team and customers coming together for such a good cause. The whole Dealership network throughout the UK is dedicated to raising cash for Children in Need and we really enjoy seeing all the different ideas people come up with.”
