A NEW restaurant in Chippenham has been given a seal of approval by local MP Michelle Donelan after she visited the new eating establishment.
Manager Arturo Malia and members of staff at the Greek restaurant, Athena Mezo Bar & Restaurant, met with Ms Donelan last week where she was able to sample part of the restaurant’s menu.
Mr Malia, whose new restaurant is on New Road, said: “It has been a busy time getting ready to open but we have had an excellent opening day.
“We are very glad to have had support from Michelle Donelan and all the staff are looking forward to a successful future of Athena restaurant in Chippenham.”
Ms Donelan added: “It is fantastic to have had the chance to visit Athena on their opening day and the staff all seemed excited about the launch.
“This part of Chippenham is increasingly becoming a hub of excellent cuisine and this new restaurant is another reason to spend a night out in Chippenham.”
