A POP-UP shop has opened at Wiltshire Museum in Devizes in the run up to Christmas to raise money for good causes.

The Christmas card shop will raise money for 25 national and two local charities. Among those receiving a donation will be Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the Rowdeford Trust.

The museum is one of a countrywide network set up by Cards for Good Causes Ltd which pays charities at least 70p in every pound from card sales.

David Dawson, Director of the Museum said: "Not only are Christmas cards an important source of funding for charities, they also help to raise awareness of their work.

"By visiting our shop, you can choose from a fantastic array of charity cards with over 200 different designs. There is no charge to browse in the Cards of Good Causes or museum shop, where we also have for sale Christmas cards in aid of Wiltshire Museum, wrapping paper, advent calendars and a great selection of Christmas gifts."
