IRELAND’S biggest new boy band, Hometown, came to Pewsey Vale School to entertain both secondary and primary school students and staff within the beautiful surroundings of the secondary school’s amphitheatre.
Hometown is the protégé of former X Factor judge Louis Walsh and the band has already reached number 1 in Ireland with their catchy new song, ‘Where I Belong’.
Both the students and staff were lucky enough to listen to a number of their songs and there was an excellent questions and answers session afterwards, as well as photographs being taken of the band with some very excited students.
Hometown stayed on at the school to mingle with the staff after lessons had finished, before performing again to the Year 11 leavers at their evening prom.
The school was able to get the band to play as one of teachers knows their tour manager.
