THERE is still time to enter this year’s Devizes Half Marathon which has now moved to a spring date this Sunday.
The race is fourth running of the half marathon organised by Events Logic UK in Poulshot and sponsored by DS Smith Packaging.
All entries must be received by tomorrow and registration on the day will open at 7.30am with the race starting at 9.30am.
The run will start on Church Walk, next to The Green, before going down Nursteed Road and will head towards Monument Hill before looping off into the surrounding villages of Etchilhampton, All Cannings and Coate.
There will be a mid way timing point along with a first aid station on the course and the finish line will be on The Green with a spectator friendly loop around the field.
The only road closure will be on Church Walk, between its junctions with Nursteed Road and Brickley Lane, from 8am until 1pm.
The first to finish Octobers’ race was Gary Dunstone, from Chippenham Harriers, winning in a course record time of one hour 17 minutes.
The women’s race was won by Natalie Plummer, who crossed the finish line in one hour 29 minutes.
