Wiltshire's Poppy Appeal was launched today with a parachute jump at Stonehenge.
The Royal British Legion’s Jump4Heroes team descended to the stones carrying a large poppy which was be presented to the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sarah Troughton.
A pupil from Shrewton Primary School read an extract from In Flanders Fields by John McCrae following the jump.
As well as the Lord Lieutenant, Royal British Legion trustee for the South West Lieutenant Colonel JF Falzon OSJ BEM and school children from Shrewton Primary School were at the launch, a pupil reading an extract from In Flanders Fields by John McCrae.
