Both the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Bristol-based Great Western Air Ambulance flew to Marlborough this afternoon to assist South Western Ambulance Service medics, who were treating a man who had gone into cardiac arrest.
The SWAS crew was called to Marlborough Lodge in London Road at 1.10pm and carried out CPR on the 80-year-old man.
He responded to CPR and was taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon by land ambulance.
Both air ambulances landed on the Elcot Lane Playing Field.
