Marlborough Youth Football Club is organising its end of season player awards on the same day England kick off their World Cup bid against Italy.
The event will have a Brazil World Cup theme and will include a fun Latin dance competition between parents and kids, all in aid of The Devizes Opportunity Centre.
Professional instructors from Marlborough-based Movida Zumba will lead parents and children through a simple routine before a dance-off between parents and players for the right to officially launch England’s World Cup bid by launching yellow and green helium balloons.
Coaches owill also play against an invitational team from Newbury, while CAT Communications and Movida Zumba have donated a flatscreen TV to be raffled on the day for Devizes Opportunity Centre.
The event will start at 3pm on Thursday with games and the exhibition match between 5pm and 7pm.
