The Forever Friends of Bath’s Royal United Hospital have launched a major new Space to Grow campaign to raise £4.5 million for a new and larger Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit for premature and ill babies, supported by the Gazette and Herald.
At the moment the unit is housed in cramped conditions in the hospital’s Princesse Anne wing but plans are afoot to build state of the art new accomodation twice its current size adjacent to the existing site.
The Forever Friends campaigners work tirelessly to generate funds for facilities at the hospital; their latest victory was securing funding for a new CT scanner.
And hopes are high that, with this much needed £4.5 million, the new unit could be completed by 2010.

To make a donation to the appeal, all you need to do is simply send a cheque made payable to ‘RUH Charitable Fund (FFA)’ for whatever sum you can afford, to NICU ‘Space to Grow’ Campaign, The Forever Friends Appeal, Royal United Hospital, Bath, BA1 3NG.
Please also include your full name and address with post code and your telephone number.
At the same time you can also request a Fundraising Pack, Making a Gift in Memory Collecting Tins, boxes or information on legacies or tribute funds.
