A pensioner accused of a series of sex attacks on young children has been remanded in custody.
Keith Westmoreland, formerly of Devizes, faces 23 charges including matters of rape and indecent assault on children.
The 65-year-old, now from Overbury Road, Birmingham, was appearing at Swindon crown court for a preliminary hearing.
No charges were put to him and he spoke only to confirm his name during the brief hearing.
Westmoreland was remanded in custody to Friday July 11 when he is due to enter pleas to the allegations.
