A MEETING to discuss the potential reopening of Corsham Station will be held next Friday.
The station has been closed since 1964 and chairman of the committee intent on reopening the station, Anne Lock, is hoping for a productive meeting.
She said: "I am hoping it will harness a lot of enthusiasm so we can generate a lot more information about individual travel.
"That will strengthen the case we will put to Network Rail, which we should do over the summer."
The meeting will be held at the Pound Arts Centre, Pound Pill, from 8pm.
