FIREFIGHTERS were called to a kitchen fire at a house in Chippenham yesterday morning.
Crews from Chippenham, Calne and Melksham attended the house at 45 Oaklands, at about 11.34am after smoke was seen coming from the property.
The fire stemmed from a frying pan left on a cooker. Firefighters used ventilation fans to clear the smoke.
One person was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
