Man dies in Yatton Keynell motor cycle event
A competitor in a classic scamble event at Yatton Keynell, near Chippenham, died yesterday when his bike hit a tree.
The event organised by Bath Classic Motor Cycle Club was immediately abandoned.
Police confirmed the man was not from the Wiltshire area.
One spectator said: "I did not see the crash happen but when we heard the news of the accident it was very distressing for everyone."
