Age Concern The Gazette and Herald has launched an appeal to mark Age Concern Wiltshire's 60th anniversary. We want to raise £60,000 to help extend the charity's vital befriending service. This service recruits, trains and supports volunteers who provide much-needed help and companionship for hundreds of vulnerable elderly folk across the area.

We need our readers to help by making a donation or organising a fund-raising event. If you can help e-mail Lewis Cowen at lcowen@newswilts.co.uk
