Thieves used a blowtorch to try and break into a Calne car mechanics.
The thieves used an oxyacetylene torch to try and cut through a metal container at Arrow Tyres, Portemarsh Road, in a bid to steal car parts on March 11.
But the thieves were disturbed before they cut through the box and made off empty handed.Police are appealing for witnesses to contact Calne Police on 0845 408 7000 or to give information anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
