Man remanded on wounding charge

A man is face trial by judge and jury after pleading not guilty to a charge of wounding with intent.

Richard Wells, 24, is said to have assaulted Keturan Pedley-Hinds on Sunday June 3 last year.

Wells, of Garden Court, King Edward Street, Calne, pleaded not guilty to an allegation of wounding with intent when he appeared before a judge at Swindon crown court.

He was released on unconditional bail to Tuesday May 13 when he is due to face trial by jury.
