Wetherspoon's pub finder gave an opening date of April 22nd, 2008. Now there's nothing.
I've heard rumour that the conversion work on the old Beale's shop has caused serious damage to the Crown Centre.
All in all, it's been a right old palaver. The pay-back period for this particular pub is going to last for ever.
