Marlborough man injured in street attack

The victim of an attack the High Street in Marlborough in the early hours of Sunday needed stitches to a cut hand and also received two black eyes.
Police were called to Hughenden Yard close to the Azuza club following reports of two men fighting amid a group of around 30 people. When officers arrived at 4.40am the group had cleared.
Police said a 21-year-old man from the Cherry Orchard area complained he had been attacked and needed medical treatment. Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
