Memorial altar set for dedication at church

A new nave altar is to be dedicated at St John’s Church in Devizes on Sunday, in memory of Joan Lewis who lived in Devizes for 25 years and worshipped at the church.
Mrs Lewis died on August 11 last year and her family have commissioned the altar, which was designed by Sean Sutcliffe of Benchmark Furniture, Kintbury. It will be dedicated by former Bishop of Ramsbury, Bishop John Neale.
