Help on offer for families

VOLUNTEER groups that work with children and families in Wiltshire are invited to join a free forum.
The Wiltshire Children and Families Voluntary Sector Fourm holds bi monthly meetings where information is shared and the next meeting is on Monday, September 24 at the Scout Headquarters, Potterne Wick near Devizes, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
The forum also works closely with Wiltshire Council as the voice for volunteer groups working with children and families to make sure the council is aware of their needs and priorities.
The forum also publishes a regular newsletter that includes local, regional and national information and has launched training grants of up to £500.
These provide training or personal development opportunities for staff or volunteers working for charities or community organisations that benefit children and families in Wiltshire.
