Peter Chapman and his wife Karen celebrate
Peter Chapman from Chippenham celebrated a remarkable £200,000 lucky win on the Health Lottery with a bottle of champagne.
He played by both direct debit and online and used the same numbers both times by mistake – remarkably those lucky numbers came up.
Mr Chapman said: “Winning once on the Health Lottery would have been fantastic but to win £200,000 is life changing. I like to play the Health Lottery because it gives money back to my local area through the local society lottery and health is something we can all relate to.”
So far around 625,000 people have won on the Health Lottery, scooping an amazing £45.5 million in the process. Since launch, 87 top £100,000 prizes have been won.
And amazingly, Peter isn’t the first person to mistakenly play their numbers twice and win. Paul Nelson from Uckfield and his family also celebrated a remarkable £200,000 win in November 2011, just a month after the launch of the Health Lottery in October 2011.
More than £23 million has now been raised for health good causes since launch by all 51 society lotteries through the Health Lottery brand, benefiting every local community across Great Britain.
