Fantasy Radio celebrated six months of broadcasting in Devizes this week.
The station, run by Phil Dawson, was awarded a community broadcasting licence by Ofcom to operate full time on February 29 after a succession of temporary licences since it launched in 1995.
The station operates from the Corn Exchange and Mr Dawson said: “The station has built up an audience in the town and surrounding villages with listeners as far afield as Trowbridge and Melksham on 97FM and around the world via the internet.
“With music from several decades as well as current hits, plus local and national news, local information about events and happenings, the station has proved to be popular.”
