Bradford on Avon packed for gold medallist's return

Hundreds have of people have packed into the centre of Bradford on Avon to greet Olympic hero Ed McKeever this afternoon.
The 28-year-old 200m kayak gold medallist has returned to his home town to see the postbox in The Shambles painted gold in his honour.
He has been met by the council sports and leisure committee chairman Coun Isobel Martindale and dozens of families waving Union Jacks.
Mr McKeever, wearing his gold medal and his Team GB tracksuit, arrived by taxi just before 3.30pm and is signing autographs.
He will be enjoying refreshments at The Fat Fowl a little later and this evening will be gurst of honour at a barbecue at Bradford on Avon Canoe and Rowing Club.
Mr McKeeever said: "I am so glad I could represent Bradford on Avon on the world stage. It is great to come back and see so many people here today. Hopefully I can inspire a generation to come."
