Horse seriously injured in Cherhill collision

A horse was seriously injured following a collision with a blue car on the A4 in Cherhill near the Park Lane junction at 3.59pm today (Saturday).
The animal, which is likely to be put down, was pulling a carriage when the incident happened.
A man also suffered minor injuries in the incident and was taken to The Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
The road was closed in both directions following the collision but it has now partially reopened.
