Spooky show scares Nursteed School mums

Young performers at the Spooky Summer Show based on the Addams Family
The weather outside may have been hot and sunny, but there were spine-chilling goings on inside Nursteed Primary School’s main hall last Friday
afternoon.
Children who had been taking part in Bright Lights Drama’s three-day acting workshop terrified their parents with a spooky show which brought together Frankenstein and The Addams Family.
Becky Luzi, who set up Bright Lights last year, said: “The children helped create the script, while Jax Avery of Jax Dance choreographed the routine.”
There were 11 children, aged six to 12, taking part.
Their parents were enthusiastic about the performance. One mum said: “I can’t believe what they managed to do in just three days.”
Another said: “I don’t know whether I like this or the Matilda show they did earlier in the year. Both were excellent.”
Bright Lights Drama runs workshops for children aged four to 16 usually at Southbroom Infants School. Call 07583 961882.
