Independent Wiltshire estate agent Stakers is repeating its ‘Open Views’ event on Saturday.
Six properties will be available for viewing, at selected times during August 4 and, as before, there is no need for viewers to make an appointment; simply turn up at the allotted time.
The houses on show are: Brocksway House, Edington (Devizes office, £850,000), a house with fine views, stabling and land.
Downs View House in Liddington (Marlborough office, £795,000), a beautifully appointed family house of some 3800 sq ft or so.
Bakewell House in Steeple Ashton (Devizes office, £695,000), packed with period charm, this is a family house right in the heart of the village.
Oakview at Whitley (Corsham office, £665,000), with its five bedrooms and secluded position.
Barn Mews in Yatton Keynell (Chippenham office, £565,000), a great family house in a very popular village.
Rose Tree Cottage, a two or three bedroom thatched cottage in Purton ( Royal Wootton Bassett office, £449,995).
Antony Bulley, managing director of Strakers, said: “We like the concept of open house as a firm; finding the right house can be more difficult than you’d think and the opportunity to ‘just turn up’ is becoming increasingly rare these days.
"Sellers like it too as it tends to focus interest into a defined period.”
Details and times are available from the offices as above with further information available at www.strakers.co.uk
