Devizes is set for Fun in the Sun

In a victory for hope over experience, Wiltshire Council’s sports development team have named their summer activities for children in the Devizes area Fun in the Sun 2012.
The council is organising coaching and games for children aged five to 11 around Devizes every Tuesday throughout the holidays, at the Jubilee Field, Bromham, from 10am–11.30am, at the Lye Field in Seend from noon-1.30pm, at the Ryeleaze recreation ground in Potterne from 2pm–3.30pm and at Lavington School field from 4pm–5.30pm.
Activities include football, athletics, volleyball, tag rugby, dodgeball and kwik cricket. See www.wiltshire.gov.uk/funinthesun.
St Mary’s Church in Potterne has a holiday club from July 23–27, 10am -noon daily with worship, sport, games, crafts and food. Call (01380) 723189.
