Royal seal for Chippenham festival

A blooming lovely weekend of flowers has received the royal seal of approval.
The St Andrew’s Flower Festival will take place in the Chippenham church with proceeds to the spire appeal and the National Osteoporosis Society.
A message and gift of flowers from Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, president of the osteoporosis charity, were received.
Elizabeth Stokes, of the Friends of St Andrew’s group, said: “The letter has taken pride of place in our leaflet.”
The event launches with a ticket-only preview tomorrow, and the church is open from 10am-6pm on Saturday, noon-5pm on Sunday, 10am-6pm on Monday and 10am-6pm on Tuesday. Entry is £3 for adults, free for children.
