Students have said au revoir to a popular French exchange teacher who is visiting Malmesbury with French students for the last time before he retires next week.
Language students spent the week with 27 students from a school in Morlaix, showing them British customs and showing them around the south west.
Teacher Jean-Yves Madec has been visiting Malmesbury for 13 years, and retires after the trip.
Brett Jouny, head of languages at Malmesbury School, said: “Jean-Yves took part in the very first exchange 13 years ago and he’s been back about 10 times. He loves it and knows it well.”
Youngsters from the secondary school took the French students to the Roman Baths, to Steam in Swindon and to @Bristol and the SS Great Britain in Bristol.
