Artists know how to party

The artists’ party at Barn Gallery this month is to become a regular event.

More than 40 artists attended the event at Church Farm in Kington Langley, including artist, sculptor and goldsmith Johnny Hawkes and engraver Andrew Davidson.

Organiser Willow Bicknell said the event was a huge success.

The gallery opened at the end of last year and is set inside a rustic 17th century barn on the Bicknells’ farm, where Mr Bicknell also runs an interior design and antiques shop.

The artists’ party is set to encourage artists to collectively come up with ideas for new works or exhibitions to be held at the gallery. They also hope to put on exhibitions.
