The former girlfriend of Prince William proved a hit when she sang at the Vine Tree, Norton, during Badminton Horse Trials last week.
Rosie Farquhar, daughter of Beaufort Hunt joint master Captain Ian Farquhar, is forging a career as a singer songwriter and the Cider with Rosie evening was said to be “a huge success”.
Miss Farquhar narrowly missed a place in the final of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BBC show How To Solve A Problem Like Maria?
Believed to be Prince William’s first girlfriend, the couple started courting in 2000 after the young Prince left Eton. She and her family are thought to have received invitations to the royal wedding.
